Letters of Paul to the Ephesians and to the Philippians

The letter to the Ephesians is a book of the New Testament in the Bible.  The apostle Paul writes to the people of the city of Ephesus (and to us !) to tell us about what Jesus has done for us and how he wants us to live.  Paul reveals to us God’s grace, his eternal purpose, his plan to save people from all nations, the unity of God’s people, how to put off sin and put on righteousness, how to love and respect our spouses, and how to resist the attacks of the devil.

The letter to the Philippians is a book of the New Testament in the Bible.  The apostle Paul writes to the people of the city of Philippi to express his great joy at how they have helped him to preach and teach God’s word.  Through this book we learn about joy, thanksgiving, selflessness, servanthood, and how to overcome worry.  We learn how Jesus came to earth, that salvation is not by our works, and that our citizenship is in heaven.
